Pyronix Alarm - Trigger Alarm Remotely

Ah, good thinking. Makes sense. I'm currently only using 2 areas. Downstairs, and then additionally upsairs when fully armed. So yes, this should work a treat. Thanks again. (y)

Pyronix Alarm - Trigger Alarm Remotely

OK, looks like my previous drawing is still not right then - but your images make it crystal clear what to do. Thank you. You are a true gentleman. I think if I had engaged my brain, I would have realised that its NC in use, and then the penny would have dropped where the 4.7k needed to go. Its...

Pyronix Alarm - Trigger Alarm Remotely

My understanding of your last... Thank you once more. I hope the original author of this post will also benefit from this.

Pyronix Alarm - Trigger Alarm Remotely

Oh - this is my updated drawing then based on your earlier reply: I'm showing +12V to relay (and then back to PGM)... I hope that is right, but can test it now fairly easily. I also figured that the Z34 input, via the relay, might also need a resistor on it? It doesn't need tamper protection...

Pyronix Alarm - Trigger Alarm Remotely

Holy mackrel... It worked. Somhow, changing the output type from 'Latched' to 'Timed', pushed everything through. I now see it in the App, and can work on hooking up a relay once I order one. :) With any luck, I can find a micro one that fits neatly inside the enforcer case. I'm not sure *why*...

Pyronix Alarm - Trigger Alarm Remotely

No luck I'm afraid. Tried lots of things: - PGM set to User Defined (0170). - Set up some 'User Outputs' entries also, just to play around. The app is syncing OK. I renamed one of my normal inputs just to verify, but no matter what I try, I can't seem to get that slider.

Pyronix Alarm - Trigger Alarm Remotely

OK, I'm with you. PGM supplies a voltage, so it would be PGM & 0v to relay, and then I'm good on the other side of the relay (as per my drawing). My issue with this, is that I shouldn't have to do *ANY* of it, other than some Master Manager setup, to get that slider in the app you refer to...

Pyronix Alarm - Trigger Alarm Remotely

Ah, I see what you mean. I think. There are 2 inputs on my enforcer (Z33/Z34) and one of them is available. I'm only using a Wired Keybad Input (D1-4), a 12v/Com out to the wireless sounder, and a single wired input for my front-door contact. All the other PIR and detectors in use are wireless...

Pyronix Alarm - Trigger Alarm Remotely

I have a similar query to this, but am using the Pyronix Wireless Encorcer V11, including a wireless sounder mounted on the wall outside. I see a wired PGM output, as well as mechanisms for custom user outputs. I have a keyfob configured with a hold-up keypress combo, but I can't figure out a...

Pyronix V11: Wired Input into Wired Keypad

I tend to crimp my ends anyway, so used a wago. They aren't going anywhere and there is plenty of room behind the panel PCB. It works fine. Thanks again for your help. I'm pleased I ran additional wires to the panel (used an 8, not a 6 as I thought) - but thank goodness I didn't use a 4. I...

Pyronix V11: Wired Input into Wired Keypad

Sorry, one daft follow up query. So I've got 2 spare wires (from a 6 wire cable) coming from my V11 to my Keypad, and I have 2 wires (from a 2 wire cable) coming from my Door Contact to my Keypad. I essentially just want to connect the 2 wires from the door contact, to the 2 spares ones which go...

Pyronix V11: Wired Input into Wired Keypad

Alright, thanks very much. I have spent ages looking back through the forum and all Pyronix related posts in case anyone had asked something similar. You sir, are a true gent for all that you do to help and contribute on this forum. Thank you very much.

Pyronix V11: Wired Input into Wired Keypad

Hello. I installed a Wireless V11 a year or so ago (main unit under stairs), though opted to fit a Wired DeltaBell to it and also fitted a Wired Keypad (Euro Flushmount - located by the front door). All works fine. Essentially, I wanted a Wireless System (but with wires to anything that drains...

Will my economy 10 tariff work?

Hi Flameport. Yes, the figure I am hearing is that 20% is the 'break even' point. Since E10 provides 5 hours 'during the day', I think that it might just about be worth staying on it. I just spoke to EON and they have said the following: - Even if you do not make use of the 'switched...

Will my economy 10 tariff work?

Just to reply to some other points directly: This is precisely what I'm trying to replicate, so if my supply is like that, then I'll be getting the cheaper rate despite what my electrician has done. I'll have to monitor this when I can get access. If this is the case though, why do they...
