im the worlds most passive person when it comes to work. i was unaware that the sparky is not full time and has a day job and was accomodating when he told me days that he works he wont be at my place working, then he went to an evening job and fell through the celing (what he tells me) anbd did...
im assuming its a dual RCD he said he got me the better expensive one and not being a sparky i dont know which is which and took his word for iti will take a pic of it when im at the house next
thats the funny thing about contracts i said i want a written scedule signed before work begins...

The sparky said that the actual certificates that are given to the customer and to register with the authorities, so that they can give the notification of work carried out cost is £3000 so he has not registered for that. and will be calling another guy...
The only things that's annoyed me with this whole work is first the guys told me they are NICEIC registered. Then half way in they say that although they are the Cerys cost £3000 so some one else will do the testing and issue the cert. I agreed saying no probs just get it all done as they where...
Tell you the truth I wish I could find just as fastidious builders as the replies on this thread at least I would get some real good work done
