Vaillant ecoTEC Plus, VR66/2, and Mixergy cylinder

No idea, I steer well clear of Mixergy as it is just an over complicated bit of kit for such a simple task as water heating. vaillant wants to use its own temp probe which I don’t think you can do on mixergy - it’s all unnecessarily too complex with mixergy

    Vaillant ecoTEC 428 plus. (VUGB286/2-OH)

Yes then all you need is Vr70 Vrc720 or vrc700 No need to use hive anymore

    Vaillant ecoTEC 428 plus. (VUGB286/2-OH)

Yes you can slide NTC into the pocket or behind insulation You will need VRC720 for one zone and dhw Vr70 If you have more zones than 1 then you ned Vr71 Vrc720 Vr92 If you have more than 2ch zones plus dhw you need Additional vr70 per 2 zones plus vr92 per zone You can also use 3rd party...

NTC is just a cylinder sensor. You have to use it with vr71/70

Yiu may have to run additional wiring for NTC and ebus If you can get vr66 then you should be able to do it without additional wiring

    Vaillant ecoTEC 428 plus. (VUGB286/2-OH)

Yes VR66 and senso home will allow proper hot water priority and modulated central heating at lower temperatures. Well worth doing with current gas prices. Trouble is getting hold of vr66 or vr70 Vr66 allows for use of existing cylinder stat. Vr70/71 requires a NTC connected to the cylinder...

Remote control of boiler flow temperature?

    Yes exactly same as Vogue

Remote control of boiler flow temperature?

Logic can do PDHW with WC or OT but it is a terrible boiler. Not only modulation is poor 6.1kw output and min pump speed is so fast that I have number of logics running on DT5 - which means that even with flow temp of 55 they hardly condense and are still much less efficient than they could be

    Opentherm with S Plan System

No need to short OT, boiler ignored OT when it gets power on SL1 or both SL1 and SL2 With 7kw min modulation it’s is still not achieving very much though.

    Opentherm with S Plan System

Yep, :) no need to short OT then. It will go to OY once it gets SL2. Right?

    Opentherm with S Plan System

Are you sure? That boiler requires 2 separate switched lives?

    Opentherm with S Plan System

If Tado is OT only for CH and has no separate SL then you will not be able to do it on a Logic. Get Nest.

combimate or magnetic conditioner, which is best

how often does this happen? I guess it may be a problem with plate hex?

Are you saying you have your S plan wired as standard S plan and then you connected open therm as well? Does it mean that on DHW boiler fires on full output and on CH it is OT? I thought this would not be possible? Where did you get that info please?
