    Broag combi 950

Looking at the text again I misread it... 950 is not the model, it is the price + VAT + flue. It doesn't say which model it is.

    Broag combi 950

I have just been quoted by my builder (who is doing insurance work on my property) £2750 to "supply and fit new boiler and alter pipe work, flush out old cistern and fix new shower mixer". The boiler he has quoted for is Broag combi 950. Basically the old Worcester-Bosch corner mounted...

Smallest combi boiler on the market?

Yeah, yeah, I know. I have to say it wouldn't have been my choice, but was put in a year before we bought the house. Isn't a combi. Seems to be working fine so far (taps head!). We have a large 300 year old Georgian house and I was wondering what it would be like in the winter, but it's toasty...

Smallest combi boiler on the market?

Hmm, don't know offhand as it is a while since I looked at it and all the papers are at the flat, plus it has a British Gas logo on it. It could be bigger, I am sure, but I hadn't thought about it until I saw the compact Baxi in the attic of our new house and thought it would give me a lot more...

    Restoring a parquet floor

Thanks WoodYouLike! Have to say I am rather pleased to be able to go to other half armed with this info, I dread to think how many tins of Nitromors he would have got through, and how stinky and messy it would have been!

Smallest combi boiler on the market?

Bengasman, it's just I am having a whole new kitchen fitted and the current W-B is very large and corner mounted to the left of the window in the middle of a run of units. Being as it is 7 years old I was thinking that it may only have another 3 years of life left. If I relocated it to the...

    Restoring a parquet floor

Thanks for your reply. The circular marks are definitely brush marks as they are not true circles, and not all over. In some areas they are just straight. I think the person who did this did it in a hurry! So, with this in mind and the floor is in very good condition, is sander still the best...

    Restoring a parquet floor

Hi, We have just moved into a lovely 300 year old double fronted Georgian house. One of the front rooms has a gorgeous herringbone parquet floor that looks as though it has been varnished using somebody's elbow! It is a horrible red colour and you can clearly see circular brush marks all...

Smallest combi boiler on the market?

OK, guess Glow-Worm aren't the most reliable then! If the only 390mm width options are not recommended ones, then I think I am best to go for the most commended compact boiler and turn it so the 390mm is then my depth restriction. This gives me more options. What is the best value:reliable...

Best place to buy a small new kitchen ?

I am currently doing the same. My builders have asked me to choose what I want from the Howden's brochure, but I found it hard to choose from pics and asked if they had a showroom. I was told by my builder to go into MFI as they are the same cabinets with different names! I have since found out...

Smallest combi boiler on the market?

Agile, Our posts crossed! I have a small 2-bed, 1 bathroom, London flat that I rent out. Usually to 2 sharers or a couple. It is a basement flat and water pressure is good. Sarah

Smallest combi boiler on the market?

Yes, I have just been trawling through them all and comparing, and that one is 390mm width. What I need is a boiler small enough to fit in a kitchen cabinet in a space of only 410mm width (so I guess a standard 400mm cabinet). That is the ideal. Is the Glow-Worm a recommended boiler? I don't...
