If you read his question he has already given the ceiling a mist coat this is sufficient the two eggshell on top but I still agree with you about mist coating first very important.

Hi yes currently doing prep work on bathroom ceiling ACRYLIC EGGSHELL use where condensation and steam are busy ie showers,bathrooms,kitchens,etc totally agree with dcdec allow about 6 hours between coats minimum
Hi there if it has been stored in a shed or garage it will be like tar try putting it near a radiator for few hours instead of thinning, it will return to its normal state ready for glossing no need to thin leyland gloss, thinning will lose all its properties its all about the tempreture when...
