I'm replacing an old back boiler with a combi and am advised the pump needs to be relocated from under the floor on ground floor next to the boiler to the loft next to the hot water tank otherwise the system won't work. Does it matter where the pump is ? Thanks
I'm not sure - I'll have to unpack it!
I'd be really nervous about hacking at a new unit. The OH would have my bits if I so much as scratch it visibly. Is there a 'standard' for doing this ?
The place I bought if from said tile under and pad it out, then paint the padding the same colour...
I'm fitting a new bathroom and will be fitting a tall storage unit which goes higher than half tiled section of the wall. Does anyone know how I deal with it so that I don't have a gap the depth of a tile on the top half ?
The only options I can think off are to tile round it and mount it...
Does anyone know whether there is a regulation height for plug sockets ? Ie do they have to be installed a certain height from the floor ?
Thanks,
Snapey
