Because I was responding to someone else stating it was but I can't see that post anymore which is strange.

It looks like the rattle has gone now changing both parts thankfully. Tracking these noises can be quite difficult sometimes.

I've been having the same conversation with my elderly father who used to be a panel beater. He calls them the old names but I go and speak to him about stuff but I'm using the name from a YouTube vid or parts supplier which are different.

Replaced both tie rods ends and have decided to get the tracking done. Did the drop links as well as they were really loose.

I found that my son's Corsa limited edition had a rattling noise which I've narrowed down to the drivers side tie rod end which had a really loose ball joint. The length of the tie rod end is 112mm so I'm thinking if I get a new one of the same length I should need to get the tracking done?

Because it's luring people in with easy answers but they don't know what's at the other end. I don't go near it.

That's not a mineral felt flat roof, it looks to me like a glass fibre that has a rolled on solution applied.

I take it the colour should be the same as the edges.

I've regreased the steering rack to see if that makes a difference but alas no.
