It is difficult to see in daylight, I know the lights are unforgiving and show everything. So your advice is hack it all off again?

Thanks again for your advice. Just had a look at the window on the same wall, bead is totally different, the right one! The must’ve not brought enough. I will withhold some of the total, they have skimmed the whole house inside too, even the floor!

Worryingly the builder, who contracted them, doesn’t appear to have noticed (yet?). There is scratches on the top of my new ali door frame too. I didn’t cover that bit coz the manufacturing tape was still on so thought would be ok. I was going to let that go, I’m at the stage in the renovation...

They we’re putting drip beads in Instead of bell cast, at my request as door needed to open fully back on the outside ( not sure if that will happen either but that’s another issue). They must have used same ones. Does that mean they have to come off? Thank you for you advice.

Thank you very much alistair read. Why would they do that?? I’ll need to talk to the builder, only finished Friday and I’ve not made stage payment . But.. there’s no way they can change that bead now without major damage. Will I be able to cover it ?

I’m going round in a bit so will take couple more. Yes it’s sand and cement - I think, it’s quite a Sandy finish too, not smooth. Thank you.

Blimey! Really ? No it’s costing a fortune. Wall itself looks good to me - there was about 5 or so of them working on it - but I’ve no clue.

I’ve had an exterior wall rendered. The beading around the window reveals are still exposed, will paint cover it after I’ve had the wall decorated? Also I put tape around the new window frames to try and protect them but In areas there are holes in the render. It’s a west facing wall so will it...
