hi all, i have a diplomat adp 5426 range cooker. as soon as the main is turned on the fan oven fan starts to run. even with the switch/stat at off position. the only way to stop this is to turn off at main again. any ideas?

if you look at your four tagged unit there should be two brassy coloured connections and two silvery colour. connect the two grey wires anyway to the brassy tags and two whites to the silvery tags. should solve problem
i have seen this before. it could be that the heat sensors on top of your oven near the cooling fan have packed up. when the oven turns off if you leave it on will it come back on of its own accord after a while?
i have foundthe cause to be mainly a faulty pump. pumps are quite cheap so change it. if it does not cure it will be your module board. not cheap. good luck
a sure way to tell if it is your module is as follows. re-connect board so machine is ready to use. remove lid. you will see a round object,this is the pressure switch. remove the tube from the bottom of switch and find a piece of tube you can attach and blow down.set your machine on a programme...
i think it will be your module on the bottom left hand side of your machine from the back. unplug from power, remove screws that hold plastic case and then remove board and check for burn marks.
