    Is it OK to fit a 13 amp socket under a bath to power a water pump also fitted under fitted under a bath? Thanks.

    Socket under a steel bath

    I want to wire a 5 amp water pump fitted under my bath. Can I fit a socket or Fused spur under the bath and does it require a 30ma RCD? Should I earth the bath from the socket too?
