I've now replaced every part of the unit with every part of the donor one by one, and the fault of low pressure on ECO/COLD is still there. At this point I have to imagine this is either expected behaviour (why would Triton design a shower that runs COLD on the lowest pressure??) or I have two...

Spoke too soon unfortunately, fault has returned, something seems to be sticking again. Presuming my donor unit doesn't have a faulty part with an identical problem, the only things I haven't tried are the solenoid and heater can, so will be trying those next.

Solved it, it was the thermostatic flow control valve. After replacing it with the one from the donor I now have pressure back on COLD and the lower setting of ECO. It was still a bit warm for my other half, who likes a cold-but-not-freezing shower, so I swapped the microswitches for the heating...
