@GalaxyGuy Thanks for the advice. I took the system down today. I have swapped the 2 shock sensors as I am wary about 1 of them as mentioned. I'll see how that goes. No moisture. As regards the bus fault I went round all 4 of the keypads and the wired RIO. I took the wires from the bus out of...
Thanks. QR looks fine to me but have taken photo for what it's worth! The shock sensors are Honeywell Viper GL ones which have electronics - so they do have power to them - hence me thinking that. Especially as they were the most recent change?
Many thanks for the reply @GalaxyGuy. Ok. I checked diagnostics. It is giving a constant reading of 13.76V with the current fluctuating between 0.53A and 0.61A.
I do have the E080-04 ethernet module, but I've had that for ages with no problems.
Are you then suggesting testing across all the...
I have a GD-48. Today, it had some sort of weird episode for 8 minutes. During this time it wrote loads of messages to the log where various modules "went missing", then came back. Then it seems to have recovered. This has happened twice previously (to my knowledge). The other times have...
Btw what is the best/easiest way to test this - ie triggering an alarm condition without the alarm sounding - to test if my changes affect the notifications?
Thanks. Sounds like you're confirming I'm looking in the right area at least?
I'm still poking about. I notice that when you have groups the account no, ip and port can be set generically and per group. That is:
Account No: 56.4.02.4 and 56.4.02.1.1.2.1 (group level)
IP: 56.4.02.2.1...
Hi. Hoping for advice from @GalaxyGuy (as you've helped me before), but grateful for any assistance anyone can give!
I have a Galaxy Dimension GD48 with the ethernet module set up with GX Remote-Control. It's all been working great for a while now, but I noticed something wrong this weekend...
Just realised from my previous post that an Alexa integration wouldn't be too smart. I mean you could tell Alexa to set/part set the alarm I guess, but clearly it wouldn't be smart if you could tell Alexa to unset the alarm: you'd have burglars going around shouting through people's...
I finally tried the suggestion and it works. With just 1 group assigned to a user the RF keyfob key-presses work as expected, but on that group only. That's fine, and clearly working for the house is the most important for me, but it is a bit annoying that I can't configure the key presses in...
Thanks @GalaxyGuy! I'll give it a try tomorrow and let you know. Btw do you know how to set up the programmable key combinations? The install instructions I got with the fob say that there are 4 programmable functions, these being: button 4, buttons 4 + 1, buttons 4 + 2 and buttons 4 + 3...
Anyone able to advise me on using a radio keyfob with a Honeywell Galaxy Dimension 48 panel where groups are set up? @GalaxyGuy??
Ideally I'd like to understand if there's a way to customise it to target the "unset", "part set" or "full set" at just 1 specific group, or - better - to be able...
