agreed homeserve probably are part of the problem,,, everyone who turns up is always in a hurry to leave and waiting for follow up appointments is a pain. the only place that we cant physically pipes is in the concrete floor in the kitchen

everyone who has looked at the boiler has said its working fine, no signs of water with the front panel down or around/near the exchanger. the first leak detector guy actually slowed the pressure loss down from every few hours to only having to refil it twice a day after he did the gas trace...

ok ill take a look at the condensate pipe and yes the boiler guy did turn off the isovalves and the boiler didnt lose any pressure. however, after the first leak detector did the gas trace pressure test, it did initially slow the pressure loss from every few hours to only having to refill it...

ahhhh duh lol..... no visible signs of a leak around the boiler. all pipes etc have been checked

RHS? yes, the water was drained and the tracer gas was pumped in but i was told there nothing was detected in the kitchen

its a combi boiler.... i can check the exact model this evening

PRV is completely dry pipes are under the concrete for about 5m - from the boiler in the kitchen up to the front room where they come out under the boards. pipes have been in concrete for at least 20 years

hi all my vailant boiler has been losing pressure at a steady rate (2 bar to empty in about 2-3 hours) for a few weeks now. i've had a boiler guy round and he said the boiler is fine, a plumber has been round and said there are no leaks at the rads, a leak detection guy round with his fancy toys...

maybe i should have asked this before i gave you the readings but what is DHW? also, when i open the panel the only part i see that i can open is the water pump. I dont see a turbine anywhere

I have a 4 year old vaillant turbomax boiler and today i have noticed that the hot water is very intermittent. ill get hot for a few mins and then its just cold water coming through,, central heating isnt that hot either. there are no errors on the boiler display, anyone got any ideas as to...
