    Thanks for the reply. The water main goes tight across that corner from where the cover is to the left of the image.. a consideration but shouldn't be a problem.. I'll find that by hand but the rest will be digger work.. I hope There are electrics that run across the far end of the garden...

    Ok.. didn't even cross my mind to do that.. just had my mind on the frame inside the wall. I guess you wouldn't be able to see the timber either. Just out of interest.. do you think the grab adhesive would work though? Is that stuff strong enough for the job? Thank you.

    I'm fitting a wooden breakfast bar counter on to the framed wall in the pic.. and I'm asking for advice on fixing it with a adhesive as I can't get access from below for actual fixings and don't want to drill screw and plug it if possible. Just wanted to know if a bonding adhesive would do the job.
