Is it the one second from left? That one looks like it has a blunt end (ready for toe stubbing) as opposed to a taper.

I have a new cabinet to finish in white, with the detailed front panel I would think it would be a task to avoid any paint drips etc. Could I spray MDF somewhow?

I ended up applying some oak danish oil to the pine wood and it looked great so i did the whole thing with the stain (saved me messing about with paint too phew). I ended up using 3 coats on the handrai and posts and 2 on the spindles.
I applied with a brush and rubbed it...

Ive just had my staircase replaced, i.e. spindles, handrails etc.
The style I am going for is wood finish on the handrail (maybe a medium oak) and then paint the spindles white.
I presume the best way would be to do the wood finish first and then paint the spindles to avoid the...
