What can I do to sort this drain out?

Thanks for the advice. It was looking much worse before I took the photos, as I already cleared away a load of moss and other nasty looking scum that was on every surface. The holes with the standing water had a couple of bricks in them and were covered in the contaminated soil. Any...

What can I do to sort this drain out?

The drain is coming off the back of the kitchen and has pipes from sinks, gutters, washing machine and dishwasher going all over the place. The base of the gully is damaged and allows water to collect and stand, which in turn has given life to millions of mosquitoes. Also, should the main...

Should I be worried about these cracks...

Thanks. Not using the flues, but the main crack (on the lower left) isn't on the flue is it?

Can't tell as it's the party wall to the neighbour

Should I be worried about these cracks...

Just noticed these cracks near the chimney stack in the attic of my terraced house. I seem to remember the surveyer couldn't get attic access prior to purchase so nothing mentioned on the survey. 20180204_162142 by sy677 posted 5 Feb 2018 at 4:24 PM 20180204_162429 by sy677 posted 5 Feb 2018 at...

Ideal classic boiler starts for a few minutes, then switches off

Thanks. Just to update, it's working again! I set pump to highest setting and shut down all rads. Vented each one in turn from lowest to highest (as before). Then vented pump and final vent (left of tank). I had to keep cycling through this venting to get rid of airlock. Just needed more...

Drained via a hose attached to lowest rad (no drain off so had to attach to tvr with hose attachment). Isolated mains water via level next to tank in 1st image above. No tank in loft. Refilled lowest rad first, and vented each one in turn up the chain.

I know it's not the boiler, I was showing the expansion vessel. Boiler is just a bog standard boiler in the kitchen:

White, and there's definitely no pressure gauge anywhere. The system looks like this:
