Need a chippy to fit ground floor skirtings and hang 12 doors. Been let down and got first baby on the way, so got a bit of a deadline to work to. :D Want the work doing in a couple of weeks time, ideally, so if anyone's got a few days spare in early/mid august, I'd be happy to talk to you...

Ikea units don't have the "service voids" IIRC. Just don't fit the backboards when making the flat packs up - job done. Symo

That would be great but, I can't think how you'd tighten them up? Perhaps I'm just being dim? Not unusual....

I'd just plaster board over it and fit a new fire surround. Dot n dab will be easy. Quick skim and job done. Plasterer would do it for about £150 all in I'd guess?

My guess is the base for some Architectural stone work, statue maybe? Symo
