After tipping the machine on its side, water came out.
Next morning, its now heating up and working a treat!!!!
I will moniter it for water leakage.
So is it normal for it to leak water if tipped over to a side?
And how should I drain any water that may still be left in the base...
So replacing the heater is not that hard by the looks of it?
£65 in parts by what I can see?
This has been in transit a few times, can they leak water when tipped over even when working correctly, ie, water in machine that it cannot completely drain after each cycle?
I paid £50 for it...
I have removed th top and both side panels and there is water in the plastic casting on the bottom of the machine!
Not much, but water in there.
When I tilted it to one side, it ****ed water all over the floor.
So whats the score?
I am unsure of my water pressure, I think we are quite high in our house, could this damage anything?
The pipe from the dishwasher goes straight to the blue water supply valve with no pressure reduced fitted!!

Hi, I have just bought this dishwasher second hand.
I have never had one before, but read through the book and set all the things as I should.
I then ran the Quick 45 degree wash that started with 38 mins on the timer, 1 hour and 10 mins later and still showing 13 mins I canceled the...
Well I completed the job today. All works a treat.
I took it slowly, double checking everything I did and Im so pleased.
The hardest bit was terminating the SWA, and that was only the case as my snips are crap. After doing one, it was fairy easy doing the others.

I need to wire a double switch.
I have COM L1 L2 at the top and COM L1 L2 at the bottom.
I have 3 cables to enter it, 1 is the feed, 2 is a set of lights and 3 is another set of lights.
All new cables, please advise on correct wiring.

I have been doing the install over the last few days and its been going really well, I will take some pics later if I can find my camera!!!
Just to clarify an earth question
I have used the armour and one of the cores in the swa as earth and they are connected to each other throughout the...
I cant thank you enough.
Some pics would be great. I am also going to take some pics as I undertake this job and knock a web page up, so it may help others.
I will keep checking to see if you have had time to do the pics.
Simon
Hi thanks once again, I am happy and understand how to do undertake the work. But before I begin though I like to know exactly what I am doing in my mind.
And the only thing that Im unhappy with is the earthing arrangements.
I will come off the RCD side then, suprised the incorrcet RCD is...
