    Multizone heating issue

Looking at last tee circulation I found articles that say its when the central heating is off and the hot water is on that the issue happens (although the water in the cylinder is hot). With my problem the hot water is off but one zone is on and the other zone radiators get hot. Is that still...

    Multizone heating issue

I have a heat only Worcester Bosch 30kw boiler and a 300L Ideal unvented cylinder. There are 3 zone valves, one for ground floor heating, another for 1st floor/loft heating and the last is for hot water. There is only one return pipe for the radiators. I had this and completely new pipework done...

Refilling central heating with heat only boiler problem

The installers came this morning and fitted an automatic air vent at the top of the boiler and it vented all the air instantly. They said that the problem shouldn't happen anymore. Thanks to everyone for their input.

Refilling central heating with heat only boiler problem

The other radiators couldn't be fitted because the rooms aren't ready yet. I didn't see any other way to do it.

Refilling central heating with heat only boiler problem

Refilling central heating with heat only boiler problem

They showed me how to increase the pressure and said to increase it to 2 bar, which is where it is currently. I found them on checkatrade, they had many positive reviews and were fully qualified. They said that it was normal for a house of this size and amount of pipework to need bleeding for...

Refilling central heating with heat only boiler problem

Hi All, I recently got fitted a heat only Worcester Bosch boiler with a separate expansion vessel and Ideal unvented cylinder. At the end the installers spent hours getting the air out by disconnecting and reconnecting the power plug to the Grundfos Alpha2 pump and bleeding the filter under the...

Soil stack vent for 2 connections to foul drains

Thanks for your suggestion Hugh. In that scenario, would the pipe that has toilets on it on the upper levels have a soil stack that goes through the roof or a high AAV and the other pipe with toilets on the ground floor have it's own AAV which would be a bit above the ground floor toilet height?

Soil stack vent for 2 connections to foul drains

My house has 2 connections into the main foul drainage within 1m of each other and the idea is that 5 toilets will connect to both of these following an extension. I fell out with the builder that did it like this so I'm not sure what the exact plan was. I know that usually you would have one...
