Hi y'all Just wondering if anyone could advise on how I should fix the floor of my man shed to be. It's an old brick outhouse about 10ft x 10ft the problem is the floor is just a layer of engineering bricks but some have started to sink and soil is appearing in some gaps and around some edges...

Hi I've just moved house and the outside gas meter is exposed, the plastic box is missing - Is there any reg's regarding the boxing in of the outdoor meter? or do I speak to the gas board and get one from them? Mike

Thanks for the reply, well the mains cabling to the socket certainly isn't on the wall so I'm guessing it's buried in the plaster or comes from behind, I will do some investigation work (with the mains off!) just to see what's what when I take the socket front off...

Hi Just a quick one, am I allowed by law to replace my nasty looking surface mounted mains sockets (white place box with sockets on front) to a nice flush mounted socket (providing I can of course chase the brick / breeze block to accept the metal back box with the main socket face then screwed...
