Hot Water Cylinder 28mm compression fittings 22mm pipework

Yes, that does make sense, modify the tank to fit the pipework rather than adding something in between :) Like this: http://www.screwfix.com/p/conex-male-coupler-302-22mm-x-1/64912 Guess I should check the diameter of the thread pattern inside the tank once I've removed the 28mm coupler...

Hot Water Cylinder 28mm compression fittings 22mm pipework

Hi, I've had a leaking hot water tank for about 6 yrs, it's just a very very slow weep but it's about time I fix it. :!: So a friend of mine had his heating system switched over to a combi so has a <2 yr old tank going spare. It's exactly the same size and pipe positions as...

    Bathroom light Doesn\\\'t work

This thread is so old I'm sure the issue was resolved.....thanks for posting the resolution!! One thing it might have been was a poor connection in the light fitting. I had one of those shower extractors that contain a light in the middle of the ceiling vent. In the cold weather the light...

Triton Topaz t100si doesn't heat water

Final update.... So received the spare part this am via the posty, checked the continuity and all was good...the little disk of thermal sensitive sheet metal was really loose in this TCO, but what the hell I need the shower fixed now! Disassembled the unit again and got the part in...

Triton Topaz t100si doesn't heat water

Hi, Thanks for the warning.... The unit wasn't frozen it was only the pipework in the loft, I think that the unit is free of leaks as you can run it normally and it doesn't leak just no hot water. In the pictures you can see the top of the can, I can't see any physical damage so...

Triton Topaz t100si doesn't heat water

well as suspected it failed the continuity test.... Why don't triton use a resetable TCO?? they could include a reset button on the circuit board as it's almost fraud as resetable TCO's have been around for years. How do they work, after it failed the continuity test we dunked it in a a...

Triton Topaz t100si doesn't heat water

Getting carried away now :) I have removed the TCO from the unit so I can take it to work tomorrow. This is the bottom of the TCO with the thermal grease wiped away, here you can make out the letters I posted about earlier, is this a sign that it's been triggered? This is the...
