    Shower pressure slowly dropping

If the tank is communal, then I doubt its this that is the problem. The shower valve may need looking at closely. Check the filters (can normally be found on the feed pipes) are clear of debris. If they are it may be worth getting a new integral cartridge for the valve.

    Shower - Will This Work?!!?!

Terrywookfit's answer would make the most sense. But if you only wanted to pump the hot and use the main, you would need to really put a pressure reducing valve on the main, to govern it down to the same as the pumped hot pressure, as the main could over ride the hot if its a strong pressure...

What is the most powerful shower i can install using a combi

The answer is yes. There is a pumped electric shower on the market. Its called an Elite ST and is made by Mira. It is suitable for low pressure stored water and has an integral pump to accelerate the pressure. It retails at around...£398 in white. Expensive, but unique. I hope this helps.

    Shower pressure slowly dropping

Normally in an apartement or flat the cold water storage tank is in the same cupboard as the hot water cylinder, (directly above it), or there may be one big tank supplying a few of the apartements...

    Shower pressure slowly dropping

Hi, check the ballvalve on the cold water storage tank and make sure its flowing well. The cold water storage tanks in apartements are normally around 25 gallon, and don't forget, this is supplying the cold to the shower, and the hot water cylinder. I tend to agree, it points toward a lack of...

What is the most powerful shower i can install using a combi

Its a little bit of a catch 22. Any thermostatic or manual shower valve will only be as good as your combi's flow, where as an electric shower will be as powerful as the kilowat rating of the electric shower. (10.5kw being the best) If you opt for a valve, make sure its thermostatic, as it...

    Single impeller pump

Fitting a single impeller pump is no problem, to a hot water cylinder. You must make sure though you use a flange of some kind. A flange, is a fitting that will prevent air travelling through the supply, thus damaging the pump. The most common flanges are 'surrey flange', 'essex flange' or...

    overflow dripping

It will simply be the washer in the ballvalve needs replacing. However, a new Part 2 ballvalve and float should cost no more than £8. Its easier to replace the whole ballvalve to be honest. Simply turn off the cold mains coming into your house, normally a stopcock either under the kitchen...

    shower pump on shelf?

If the pump is higher than the cylinder on a shelf, some pump manufacturers require an anti gravity loop in the hot feed to the pump. This is simply a downward loop of pipe work that then loops up to the pump, a bit like a u shape. This prevents air going to the pump, on the hot side. Some...

Triton Power Shower Leaking after Central Heating Install???

All electric showers should have a pressure reducing valve fitted, governing the mains pressure to the unit. Normally set at 3 bar pressure. This protects the unit if the main to your property suddenly increases. (Does happen when water board work on mains nearby etc...) If your main is...

    HELP!!two radiators not heating propely

It may be worth putting in a chemical to de sludge any mess in there. Sentinel X400 Sludge remover can be purchased from any reputable plumbing merchant. You simply add this to the system when half empty, then fill the system back up, and let it circulate for a couple of weeks. You then need...
