Suggests its overheating and has to cool before it will relight, check thermistors and that pump is working ok. Otherwise it could well be the PCB.
After waitng the 20 mins or so does it then work ok?
Can recommend the Salus RT500RF. Its a 240 volt supply with a volt free switching option. Around £40-60 +vat and a doddle to fit, you only have to remove the 240 volt link on the receiver for it to work volt free. Used loads they are brill and wireless too.

As far as im aware there is no legal requirement on an RGI to issue a certificate. He does however have to inform building control, which in most cases is easiest done by GWN to corgi, who in turn notfy building...
Those energysavers were one of the first available condensing boilers and they are notorious for causing sludge in systems. can i take a guess that your system water is bright orange?.
suggest you replace it asap or you will be having one problem after another.
its probably poor design. expensive sanitary ware with poor fittings, pretty normal considering you get screwed by just about everybody else.
Anyway, rant over, go to plumbers merchant and as apb says buy a "Bottom entry torbek quiet fill valve", wont be more than around £17.
