would having a cheap rubber hose and plastic shower head the very cheap type fitted to my power shower and not the metal head and hose which came with the shower cause my waterpump to burn out

How powerful is the pump?
Would have thought it would blow thw the rubber hose off the taps first!!

Talk about using a sledgehammer to crack nut!
