Well, the bolier is something like a Potterman??? sorry if i got that wrong but its so old the writing has faded lol The timer we have is a DanFoss 102 E5 - does this help ?

Further to my last post, I can confirm it is my timer that has gone all stange on me, so i need to buy a new one and fit it etc. My boiler system is very old so the question I have is "Are all timers standard fitting and universal to all boiler systems?" And can anyone reccomend a good one - thanks

I now understand what the Motorised valve is and what it does, but have searched the house and can only find a pump for the shower located near the tank - I have looked at the boiler but unable to see a valve connected to any pipes near that - any ideas?

Hi, I have recently installed a Honeywell T6360b room thermostat and the heating is working fine switches on/ff as required BUT it now seem that the water is contiuing to heat up although it is not switched on? The boiler seems to fire up and heat the water even though we have set it on a timer...

Job done, all sorted radiators now hot and thermostat works fine - much obliged for your help
