Hiya mate - I have been contracting in the London / Kent areas for about 8 years. If you can withstand half the crap jobs and the bullshit from BG, then you can earn money. I have my own limited company and do not go through an agency. At present, I only work 3 days a week and most times, I earn between £500 - £600 per week. You can normally work loads of hours, especially if you are flexible about the areas. Personally, I am renovating my Bungalow and although I need the money, BG are OK with me working 3 days. If you are OK with fault finding and as I do, work in some crap areas, with crap customers, you could easily earn £1000 per week. A lot is said on the CC forum about BG, their engineers and selling. If you sell things, upgrades etc, you earn Qudos points which equates to money. I don't go out of my way to sell anything, but still earn money out of it.
