Never tried the other, its only a single light, and the wattage is 100w. Might try the other dimmer in the other switch then if that works just put another normal switch with the two sets of wires and the single red. The other switch has got a red to L1, blue to L2 and yellow to L3. Hopefully...

Yes the lights flickered on when the dimmer was turned on. I was not sure about trying different combinations, so left the three sets of wires the way they were.

Yes two way switches and the way they were connected in the 1 switch with two pairs of wires and a single red tried all the possibilities. Either lights flickered or off all together, and was unsure of swapping the pairs or trying them in different configurations.
