Hi all, I have a 2450w oven wired upto a standard 13a plug. Would this be safe? It works out to be 2450w x 240v = 10.2a so well under 13a. Thanks

Hi all, thanks for all your comments but i had to get an asbestos guy to check it out for 114 quid!!!!....I dont think it was artex in the end!!!!!! Thanks everyone

Hi PrenticeBoyofDerry, the two pictures are sort of a before and after of the ceiling. The first picture with the brown patches are where i scrapped if off and the second is just how it was when i moved in. I think it might be artex that has been painted over because i needed a chisel to remove it.
