What do you mean by under the gland nut? unscrew the gland abit and add some ptfe around the threads of the nut? Or unscrew it all the way out? Won't this leak alot if I do. Thanks for any help.

Hey If tiling a bathroom were the toilet cistern has been set off the wall so I can get my tiles in to tile behind it. Is it ok if this grout line isn't grouted? Its not visiable. Behind the cistern.

Hey If I'm tiling a bathroom full tile around the bath area. Then outside the bath area tiling half way up the room, or to the height that makes it look good around the window sils. Do I need to put tile trim on top of the last row of tiles or do people usualy just grout were the last tile ends?

Hey do many plumbers not bother screwing basins with pedistals back to walls do the just stick them back with silicone. I just removed my old basin which had been in for years and it was just siliconed back to the tiles took some getting off.
