Does anybody know if it makes any difference to put the LSVs on the inflow pipe of my rads rather than the return pipes?
Also, I have one rad with an odd kind of valve I've not seen before - under the +/- plastic cap it has a metal pin, around which is a black, turnable plastic ring numbered...
I've drained a sealed system and replaced the valves on three downstairs rads and now need to refill. Before I start (apart from the obvious, like venting the rads), I need to know how to avoid airlocks in the pump/boiler. Previous posts have mentioned opening the pressure relief valve to draw...
