Hi,
I'd like to mount this wine rack to the wall, but I'm not sure how to go about it or whether it's such a good idea!
Fully loaded it'll weigh 120kg. Ideally it'll be 40cm off the ground (as there's a socket to clear) and angled backwards so the base is 22cm away from the wall (so the...
Hi all,
I've just removed a false chimney breast with a view to rebuilding as a new media wall. There was obviously originally a full breeze block fireplace that has been chipped back to allow for an in wall gas fire in the old false breast I just removed.
At one point of the old breeze block...
Thanks all for your comments and wealth of knowledge shared. Very much appreciated.
Installer didn't explain why they'd set the hall up as entry/exit in any convincing way, just something about setting the primary zone type to cover full/part arm rather than using the zone attributes to alter...
I've got the engineer code. They had a lot of trouble getting the smart com working (four visits) so I got it off them so I could fiddle. I think the smart com issues were as a result of initially trying to join it to a subnet for which the gateway was 192.168.2.1 (same IP as you initially use...
Installer is ssaib and texecom authorised. It's a bell only system. They replaced an old texecom system, but added the front door contact.
Do I need to set entry/exit attribute on the hall PIR to make it entry/exit on part? Your msg implies it might be auto if guard access on full?
Would the...
I've just had a new Premier Elite professionally installed and I've a query about how they've set it up. They insist it's right, but I'd like a second opinion.
The hall has a PIR and the front door a contact sensor. The keypad is in the hall below the hall PIR.
Arm mode is timed exit. Front...
Just to close this one out for anyone who comes across this thread in the future.
Repointing and lapping the felt over the back gutter did not resolve the issue.
After a long wait (9 months!) I finally got a long established and well regarded roofer to investigate.
The issue was as originally...
I've looked at fitting instructions for similar taps, but none of them marry up to this one. The spout doesn't unscrew and there's no grub screw securing it. It seems to me the only way the cover can be held in place is via the brass nut in the first picture.
I think it's just a case of finding...
Thanks, a couple of photos from the side attached.
I suppose the shroud could come off as one piece, but if it does it isn't coming off easily and I don't want to apply too much force in case it doesn't and I damage it. There's no other fixings I can see other than the nut originally shown.
