    could be that the secondry heat exchanger is choked up, needs taking out and flushing through.

    clever.. trevor.. stix.. u got a double entry rad valve,, u must have microbore,, microbore is not friends with sludge as sludge beat up microbores mate at the foriegn heat exchange(r) open up valve ( and lockshield screw) a couple o time to free any muck, but dont think sludge is gonna like...

    u should always prime the pump( commissiong procedure in manual will say how) but as the pump ran ok b4 without air locking then it must have been primed(expell air), pointing towards an internal fault(warranty)

    make sure hot and cold incoming to shower r right way rnd as some p. showers differ. if u r sure the pipework is set out ok(tritons usually work well regardless of pipework) id contact triton as its a new shower. if any inline filters r fitted then check they're clean

    how did u come off the hot water cylinder?? off at 45degrees or so? with a slight loop to avoid air ingress,, if not could be air locking both hot & cold should be first feeds..

    the zone valve isnt functioning the way it should, if u unscrew the side screw and lift off the metal cover u will se a roundish synchron motor , this is replacable, and quite easy to do, these motors are prone to burning out. £15 to buy, 5 mins to fit. or ill sort it for £150 :D

    thats the criteria of corgi, to b assessed i have to show him some electrical work( in this case the radial to the immerssion on the megaflo i fitted), but the work had to b certified by a registered sparky..(funny i know) so looking at his certificate i was wondering why 60a max demand...

    but could i legally put 60 amps down, or would i be expected by an assessor to hold back the certificate till the max demand is reduced in some way??
