Hi.
We are planning on panelling the lower half of our hallway walls as well as a couple of other walls, the panelling will be a mixture of primed MDF strips and Pine mouldings attached to the wall. I would like to use one type of paint for the panelling, including the skirting, architraves...
My parents have recently moved house, their boiler looks fairly new and was recently serviced. It's not a combi.
They are only able to get the hot water to come on by first switching the heating on. They are then able to switch the heating off and the hot water remains on until the switch it off...
Just coming back to update on this in case anyone is having the same issue. I basically figured out that even on the first coat after the mist coat the paint was absorbing into the plaster so fast so wasn't spreading. I think I'd watered the mist coat down too much. I added less water on other...

They will be 600mm wide tiles. Would the edges need to be mitred (sorry not sure if that's the correct term)? Thanks, I will check out the levels tomorrow
Thanks for your reply.
We've been told the line where the wall meets the ceiling won't be completely straight so they said it would be better to make it a slight curve which means we won't be able to get a neat finish if the tiles went up to the slope.
