Hi Everyone,
I’m after some advice on house extensions. I’m looking at buying a house which would need extending and I’m after some ball park figures on how much it would cost.
The extension would be 2 story of brick built construction with a tiled roof, built onto the side of a 1970’s...
After a few e-mails to the manufacturer I've hopefully resolved it so here's an update for anyone with the same problem in the future.
Turned out that I had the hot and cold the wrong way round! The shower has little red and blue stickers on inputs but it turns out these where put on the...
Hi Everyone, I have a question regarding the shower I have just fitted and hope somebody can help.
The shower I have is a Thermostatic Bar Mixer Shower and is the same as this http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/1673-15906

The only problem if I do that is that the floor level won't match the adjacent rooms.
Does anyone have any idea of typical power ratings of single built in fan assisted electric ovens?
The reason I ask is I have a IGNIS AKL887/IX coming with my kitchen and I’d rather just feed it from a 13A fused spur rather than a dedicated cooker supply. I’ve searched the net but can’t find...
I am about to install a new kitchen and laminate flooring. I appreciate that the conventional way of doing it would be to install the kitchen, then the floor and hide the expansion gap behind the plinth.
The problem I have is that the kitchen I’ve bought has loads of vertical breaks in the...
UPDATE
Over the weekend I removed all of my radiators one at a time, took them outside and blasted them through with a hose pipe, this seemed to remove a lot of sludge from the system.
While I had the radiator with the blocked pipe off I opened the valve to see how much flow came out of the...
