IOur garage door was flaking and about 3 years ago, I stripped and re-painted it with Hammerite. Hammerite states that you do not require a primer and so I painted it as worded on the tin.
Unfortuately, the paint has started to flake and looks untidy. I have once again stripped the garage door. I would like to re-paint it but correctly this time. I believe it needs to be treated first then primed prior to painting. There is no rust on the door facing but a little down the sides. Can anyone help me..
