PS3's have universal power supplies. Get rid of the US cable altogether and just use a standard kettle lead but with a 5amp fuse in it. Ignore that it says it will only take 110/120v, they do accept 240 and work perfectly fine. Google about and you will find the same info.

Hehe, I actually meant is there any reason why I can't run the mains cable alongside (and yes it probably will touch as the hole isn't that big.) I'm thinking it might be difficult even to run the cable through a conduit. Balls.

Hi, I'm wondering whether our mains water needs to have equipotential bonding on it. The water main enters the property from the front and there is around 10 metres of plastic pipe before it hits metal pipe at the stop cock. The consumer unit is then 10 metres back towards the front door...

There is no class 1 or 2 equipment in the bathroom. I'm sure this is a stupid question but how can I tell if the pipework is "electrically continuous"?

Jumping on this thread, I've got a probably stupid question. Our bathroom doesn't have any bonding on any pipes. My question is, as the boiler is in the bathroom and therefore all water, gas, CH pipes are in 1 place, can I simply bond all those together onto the lighting circuit and be done with...

Sorted this out now. It was air in the rads, turned heating on, bled rads, hot water now works fine.

Some further information here, now the boiler is reluctant to fire up at all. When it does, and the pressure starts fluctuating lots it starts making some very horrible noises that I don't like the sound of before shutting off. I've just enjoyed a freezing cold shower after a long day of DIY...
