Drilling in Stone Resin Shower Tray

Hi All, Thanks for sharing experiences. Considering the mixed reactions, I think I'll silicon the brackets rather than screw. Make good where the screw heads should show. If there's any issue with this in the future then I can have a go at fixing with screws then. |Thanks Again, soup

Drilling in Stone Resin Shower Tray

Hi John, Yep. Drill and a 6mm plug. In fairness, they didn't come from the same place. The enclosure instructions are not specifically for stone resin but the two corner brackets will have the screw heads on view when completed (no caps). Regards, soup

Drilling in Stone Resin Shower Tray

Hi, Looking for advise please. Installed a stone resin shower tray, two sides wall, two sides glass shower enclosure with a sliding door on long side. Pretty much completed installation of shower enclosure except for drilling. Shower enclosure instructions require a corner bracket to be fitted...

    Fixed vs Portable Thermostat

Thank you all, everybody is in agreement that moving it around is a bad idea and, placement in the bathroom is a no no. I’ll have to scratch my head and come up with compromise I think. Thanks all for your time and thoughts yet again. soup

    Worcester Bosch CDi Programmer

I’m drawn to the CMT927 for a number of reasons: Wireless Portable Optimised start Optimised finish Other features offered by similar controllers Then fit the DT20 to control the pre heat timing. Knowing I can fit two controllers, I have dismissed the Worcester Bosch DT10RF Optimiser...

    Fixed vs Portable Thermostat

Hi Folks, I’m having a Worcester Bosch 37 CDi installed. I’ve (eventually) decided on fitting a Honeywell CMT927 controller which offers a number of benefits to me including portability. I’ll also have a Worcester Bosch DT20 fitted to time the preheat function...

Worcester Bosch 37 CDi Programmable Thermostat Wiring Advice

I know this seems to be a dead thread but this will correct some mis-information contained in it. This is just for completeness to anyone discovering the thread in the future. You can connect two controllers to a 37 CDi boiler (please check with Worcester Bosch yourself before making any...

    Worcester Bosch CDi Programmer

Hi Again, At the very start of all this advice I’ve been seeking over a number of weeks, I asked the question “can the 37 CDi be wired to a CMT927 receiver and another timer to control the hot water preheat?” specifically the Worcester Bosch DT20. I got the answer that this was not possible...

    Worcester Bosch CDi Programmer

At last... the Worcester Bosch technicians confirm that you can’t connect a working, third party, two channel programmer!

    Worcester Bosch CDi Programmer

I think this is just a matter of Worcester Bosch admitting that only their own controllers can do both channels. The choice for me (and everybody) will be: 1) If you want to control hot water preheat times then you have to fit their own controller. 2) If you want a controller that cycles...

    Worcester Bosch CDi Programmer

Thanks again, I’m not happy with the information I’m getting from Worcester Bosch, that’s why I’m not letting go. I believe the engineers understand the functionality of their own DT10RF controller and, that they understand my question otherwise they wouldn’t be advising me that I need a two...

    Worcester Bosch CDi Programmer

Thanks again for all your feedback, especially ianniann who has been offering me lots of balanced advice. I’d like it if my plumber can fit me the Honeywell Sundial RF Pack 2 (Y9420H), this will give me two channels so I can have hot water preheat, it will cycle the boiler and, the thermostat...

    Worcester Bosch CDi Programmer

Thanks for your explanations, I see how the two functions have different tasks to perform. It also appears that the DT10RF does hot cycle either, so compared to the Honeywell controllers that do... I am now making that assumption, do you feel I’m justified in that statement? Thanks, soup

    Worcester Bosch CDi Programmer

Hi Again, I was meant to be having a WB 37 CDi installed this week but fitting has been delayed a week or so. Sorry to bang on about my own system but I feel it’s best to gather information before fitting if possible. My question (still) revolves around the dilemma of fitting a Worcester...
