i tested the pump by taking the cover off and using a multi meter the pump did stop working when it was hot and it still had a live going to it,i replaced the pump today 31/10/08 and its working ive got heat in my house, no more sleeping around the fridge keeping warm :lol: .....would like to...

Thanks for both of your help, a plumber over the phone has just told me to put a circuit tester on the pump and turn the heating on, which i did, the pump ran for appx 5 minutes then stopped, but i was still getting power at the pump, yet it wasnt working. Does this confirm the pump is broken...
