    Horizontal Cabling in a Ring Circuit

    Not sure... It has quite an old consumer unit at present (reqiuring wire fuse replacements). I am getting an electrician in to replace the consumer unit (I know my limits!) but am hoping to add the extra sockets to the circuit beforehand.

    Pcs these days (desktop and laptop) are so powerful, you really do not use anywhere near the full capacity of the machine unless you are running really new games. Dell are selling some cracking laptops now for between £400 and £500 direct from their site. Well worth a look.
