The power appears to come from sockets and not from the lighting ring. Also, there is a fuse on the front of the new switch (20mm x 5mm).

Thanks for the replies, I'm not so sure about the brand but they quoted an average of 6000 hours. I feel that 10 minutes here and there over 6 weeks cant add to to 1000 hours let alone 6000 hours!

Hi, can anyone please tell me how I measure a syphon as I am not sure if I need an 8", 9" or 10" to replace mine.
When I flush the loo, sometimes the lever moves and there is no resistance so I am assuming it's the syphon!
