Apologies EFL … I'm quite a novice at this, could you explain what you mean by this in a little more detail. Also, I can't see any loose wires anywhere (… I suppose it is possible that an older boiler may have been located elsewhere?) Thanks in advance EFL G.

Many thanks for your swift response EFL, I should have been clearer: there is already a new, functioning thermostat in place elsewhere … I just need to, as you say, disconnect and remove this one. This is where I could use some guidance. Is this relatively straightforward? G.
