Hi again guys, you've been great getting me through my switch issue that I put here https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/frustrating-light-switch-swap.657254/ I've wired the switches in and have a downstairs and landing switch working, plus a bathroom switch that feed a dimmer....all working...

Yea I was thinking if could swap all the wires but the 2 on the dimmer currently to a new switch and then somehow link those 2 wires to the redundant switch that's in the dimmer switch would that work?

Any potential thoughts on this? If it's a no go I'll can the idea

While we are on the subject of dimmers, now you've kindly managed to get this working I was wondering I have a spare switch and back box, if I were to install that next to this dimmer switch and have the landing light off that and use the switch located on the dimmer for a full brightness...
