Ideas to fill a small concreted area

Apologies about the original post. As you can see in the pictures, there is a slop from front to back, and slightly from left to right. So at the highest point of the slope, there is about 38mm depth. At the lowest there is about 70mm depth. So I'd have to get a lot more of the concrete...

Ideas to fill a small concreted area

Thanks for the reply guys. Self lay bagged tarmac (or macadam as I understand it, looks very simple to do, but I can only find it in black unfortunately and I wanted to make it look a bit decorative rather than just practical. I'll keep an eye out for some coloured stuff but if not then I...

Ideas to fill a small concreted area

Hi All, I'd like some help and maybe ideas as to what to do with a small concreted walking area. It was ok before, but the concrete did look a bit ugly and was uneven and sloping quite badly. I've added some pictures to show what it currently looks like. It's about approx 2.4 across...

Projector in garage too far to get wifi. other options?

This looks pretty good too: Cheaper and looks less obvious. http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-ANT2414A-Outdoor-Directional-Antenna/dp/B000Q69L1C/ref=sr_1_23?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1421142433&sr=1-23&keywords=external+wireless+bridge#customerReviews And suggests that these wireless...

Projector in garage too far to get wifi. other options?

Thanks for all the replys guys. So what you’re saying is I shouldn’t get a digital aerial right ;) I’m not sure what you mean by ‘gain figures’. Hemel is only 3 miles away and there is no terrain in the way, so I would assume this would be the best one. Crystal Palace is 22 miles...

Projector in garage too far to get wifi. other options?

These look a bit different from the standard aerials and much more visibly attractive: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/one-for-all-outdoor-digital-tv-and-radio-aerial-a57cw http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/outdoor-digital-tv-aerial-a50fz Would one of these work?

Projector in garage too far to get wifi. other options?

Sureitsoff – So that suggests the garage is not covered under the TV licence of the house? Sam Gangee – The electricity runs about 12” below the turf. I could run an Ethernet cable, but it would be pretty ugly and exposed. How does yours look, or is your garage closer? I could run it along...

Projector in garage too far to get wifi. other options?

Wow - that would be an unbelievably cheap and diy-free option. Just wifi would be fine as I could stream TV or get a chromecast or something. But Sureitsoff? has raised some startling concerns. I'd rather not face a £5000 fine! Any other solutions? Or would the proper aerial option work...

Projector in garage too far to get wifi. other options?

Hi All, I'm planning to mount a projector in my Man-Garage for tv or internet - something to watch while chilling in my man-place supping a beverage and playing darts! (I already have electricity wired in to the garage form when I bought the place) But it's at the end of the back garden...

New Drayton thermostat causing regular pump failure

To add to this post, to fix the issue I've been unplugging the boiler and plugging back in after a few seconds, which seems to reset the boiler and it will work again for a few days perfectly.

New Drayton thermostat causing regular pump failure

Hi All, I recently ask end on here about thermostats to but and this is a follow up post installation question. I recently bought the following Drayton wireless thermostat from Screwfix to use with my Baxi 105e combi boiler...

Help with buying and wiring a new wireless thermostat

Just thought as you gave me advice then I'd let you know the outcome. Bought the Drayton DF700 today from Screwfix and had someone round who could install it for me (though we did refer back to the wiring instructions on the messages above so thanks for that). Initially it was working...

Help with buying and wiring a new wireless thermostat

Morning Guys, Happy Friday. Thanks for the advice given so far. I'm starting to get this straight in my head. I'm therefore thinking either the Drayton one linked above or I may take your advice D_Hailsham and go for that CM927. St0rmer66 - how do I link L to 1? Take a spare bit of the...
