Shower Temp too high / pressure low after installing unvented system how to resolve?

I don't see any other pipes on that valveset As you said grey says 3 Bar, Blue says 6 Bar (pic) Away from the boiler/tank are this valveset but they are from the old set up and on/off I think? Btw on my setup the CH is controlled by Hive but we keep the water (heating) on constantly on basis...

Shower Temp too high / pressure low after installing unvented system how to resolve?

HI All We switched from a gravity fed system in the loft where we had shower pumps feeding both bathrooms (it took an age to get hot water to the downstairs taps) to a system boiler and unvented hot water system downstairs Pressure out of the taps is decent (better than before tbf) the issue is...

switching from MR16 with transformers to mains GU10 in bathrooms?

Ive been wanting to convert away from 1/2 the house on MR16 bulbs with transformers for a while as I've found some LED GU10s that we actually like for brightness etc AND the ones in our master bathroom die too frequently (the ones in the kitchen and home office are fine to be fair) Would...

Harmer ( or other) drain for altro floored wetroom?

locally suggested alternative (although I'll need vertical not horizontal i think) http://mcalpineplumbing.com/wet-room-products/sheet-floor-gullies/tsg1-whc-75mm-water-seal-gully-horizontal-outlet-sheet-flooring

Harmer ( or other) drain for altro floored wetroom?

Can I please just clarify. Just learned for wetroom vinyl floors apparently it should be aluminium bodies not steel (from Harmer). For the Altro/Polyflor stuff it's the "flex sheet" version I need and not tiled floor version, right? I'm tempted to just get plain cap as it has best drain rate...

Another "worth the extra" question re showers

They're used to exposed 2 valves for temp and flow. This adds the 3rd for the outflow. I agree it doesn't default to the tap but the compromise would be I ask for "straight " to be tap and turned either way is shower so when they see it's not straight they know to correct it before turning it...

Another "worth the extra" question re showers

Yes. A tap, flexible head and fixed head off the same valve. If it gets too complicated I'll ditch the fixed head and stick to tap and flexible but it'd be nice to make it nice for them

Harmer ( or other) drain for altro floored wetroom?

Builder doesn't have experience of them He said he's going to screed the floor to make the fall. He came on site to have a look when he said that.

Harmer ( or other) drain for altro floored wetroom?

Need to source a drain suitable for an altro- floored wetroom. The flooring guy told me to get a harmer drain. I've googled and see loads of websites with images and details but no one selling them except one place charging over £200. So - could you nice folk please recommend a drain fit for...

Another "worth the extra" question re showers

Sorry yes he is - I remember him saying they look great and are popular but he now avoids them after a short run of failures. I appreciate that can just be bad luck - I was just feeding back(y)

I vaguely recall a friend's friend telling us once recently to stay clear as they look nice but he's had 2 fail on him in short time recently?

Another "worth the extra" question re showers

Space is a premium here too. Sorry I should have set the scene better. This is going into a newly built single story wetroom for my elderly parents as they struggle with stairs and mobility in general so it's going to be tiled walls and altro nonslip vinyl flooring. It's only 2.1m by 1.8m with...
