    Suitable edging for sandstone patio

I have laid foundations for my patio (about 30sq.m), I am about to order indian sandstone slabs, but noticed a lot of patios on internet pics edge off the area with cobbles or bricks... Is there any suggestions on the most suitable bricks/cobbles to use for this purpose, or a specific name for...

Maintenance for Grohe Cosmo 3000 concealed thermostat?

I recently fitted my en-suite and fitted a concealed Grohe 3000 Cosmopolitan thermostat, I backed it onto the airing cuboard so I have rear access to maintain and tighten all the connections if necessary. I'm now fitting out the bathroom, however can't back this onto another room or airing...

Cut into a sewer inspection chamber?

Aqua, the inspection chamber is one of those terracotta coloured plastic ones, with a metal cover. So cutting into it with a circular drill bit is easy enough, your right about the smell disapating, however I was gong to have the gutter drop into Aco channel drainage (1m lengths for 8m) which I...

Cut into a sewer inspection chamber?

Hi, I have the downpipe from one side of my roof, which drops into the ground and drains water off into the gravel run of the main 4" sewer pipe from my house, at the moment it's all soil covered but I want to put a patio down on top, so thought I better properly sort out where the water goes...

Low Pro Shower Tray and Pivot Door, will it flood the floor?

Thought I better get on with this as want to be using the shower by Christmas... I bought a Kudos Concept 2 shower tray (heavy but seems really sturdy), didn't mess around with flexi connects, so used 90deg McAlpine compression joints and have a drop of about 50-60mm across a 2metre length...

Low Pro Shower Tray and Pivot Door, will it flood the floor?

Hi, When you say it will "pull", do you mean because the joint won't be sitting firmly in place within an 90degree bend, because the angle of descent is to steep? Can you not get round this by just using a flexi connect?

Low Pro Shower Tray and Pivot Door, will it flood the floor?

We intend on living in the house for a while, as we bought as a project to do up, so want to maintain the quality throughout, it was only that the Kudos trays were double the price of the MX, wondered if there was much in it at all! :D

Low Pro Shower Tray and Pivot Door, will it flood the floor?

I have also found that the MX Group also do a stone resin shower tray 1000x800 in Durastone, but at a more reasonable price than Kudos, has anybody had any experience with these? If so what are they like?

Low Pro Shower Tray and Pivot Door, will it flood the floor?

Thanks for your reply, I will take a look at the Kudos. With regards to your comment above about the correct fall and size on the waste pipe run I will have is a 1/2" pipe which runs for 2 metres before connecting to the main soil pipe, the drop across this distance will be approx 6" across the...

Low Pro Shower Tray and Pivot Door, will it flood the floor?

Hi, I have got an unvented Cylinder, so get good water pressure and am about to replace a 25 year old Mira shower and tray. I know i need to raise the shower tray to ensure I can get access to the shower trap by about 100mm, but wanted to fit a low profile tray so there isn't a massive step...
