Hi everyone
After laying a floor screed, do I have to cover it with anything - sheeting etc whilst its drying and how soon afterwards could you safely walk over a 50mm screed. I did ask in an earlier post about drying times but that was for a 85mm screed.
I would be grateful for any advice...
Sorry a beginner here. Have made a search of the forum but cant find an answer.
what would be the drying time ie time befre it could be walked over for a
85 mm screed floor applied as a semi dry mix. Is there a calculation for thickness
thanks
My kitchen is an old extension which needs the existing concrete floor replacing. What would be best DPM on a bed of sand directly under the screed (40mm sand/cement semi dry) or a DPM coating applied in two coats on the surface of the screed.
Thank you
I intend to replace an existing sloping and uneven concrete kitchen floor and lay a 40mm screed but Im not sure whats underneath. Can a screed go over anything, soil rubble etc and if not what are the limitations?
Thank you
would somebody kindly tell me what would be a fair rate for rendering and plastering per m2 in NW lancs. thank you
