Thanks for the speedy reply. With no filter of the likes does that mean that, unlikely as it may seem, wildlife can make it's way into the boiler? Regarding "concern" what's the main worry? Lack of airflow? Chuckies pinging around in the burners? Thanks again. Willneverbeanexpert.

Just found out that whilst roughcasting my house my, now fired, builder did not cover the flue for my boiler and filled the flue full of Dorset Pea! I've scooped out what I can very carefully but cannot guarantee that some has not fallen down into the boiler itself. Can anyone advise if there is...
