    I see what your saying. Its not a fast a buck i am after, its just a larger profit margin, that can only be acheived by selling quality products at market rates. I have just seen a house fitted with laminate flooring, how can you gain a good reputation selling laminate, or vaneered MDF!! YUK!!

    I could give you far worse example than that, a retailer close to j5 of the M5 ;-) has a showroom fully of defunct chinese stock, at 6X normal retail and i would agree, that some of wickes wood floor stock needs extra care when fitting.
