    tiling on sand/cement mixture

    Hi I wonder if somebody could advice me. I have just removed my bathroom tiles and on 1 wall the plaster came off very easily with the tiles leaving a sand cement render. Can I tile onto this and if so what adhesive or preperation do I need to do.
