We're having underfloor heating put in our kitchen. We've been advised that natural stone tiles are best as they are porous and allows the heat to rise better. Obviously natural stone tiles tend to be expensive, is this advise accurate?

I have a Suprima 60 Boiler which immediately heats the upstairs radiators when switched on but will not heat the downstairs radiators. Thermostat is upstairs by the boiler. I've recently had the system flushed but it hasn't changed things. Any suggestions/help gratefully received
